Rocco Ritchie, Madonna’s Son, Debuts as the New Face of Alexander Wang x Adidas Originals

Alexander Wang brought a lot of surprises for his spring/summer NYFW show―one of them was the full reveal of his capsule collection with Adidas Originals fronted by Rocco Ritchie.

But who exactly is Rocco? For starters, he’s Madonna’s 16-year-old son and Lourdes Leon’s younger brother. And just like Lourdes, (who got her first gig this year as Stella McCartney’s muse) Alexander Wang x Adidas is Rocco’s first dive into modeling.

Madonna was also sitting front row at the Alexander Wang show―reportedly arriving minutes before the lights went off. So just imagine everyone’s surprise when they saw her there.

The campaign―which also includes Wang Squad members Hanne Gaby Odiele, Lexi Boling, and Binx Walton―is set on the streets of New York. The accompanying video shows the pop-up truck where the capsule collection would be sold after the show. And to make things more interesting, customers also got their merchandise in trash bags. This include three varieties of sweatshirts, black shorts, black track pants, three varieties of t-shirts, and sneakers.

The 84-piece collection will be available globally in the spring, so we’re expecting to see more of Rocco for Alexander Wang. Who knows? Maybe we’ll see him model for other brands in the future.
