Read Catriona Gray’s Thank-You Messages After Winning Miss World Philippines 2016

In case you missed it: model and bloggger Catriona Gray won Miss World Philippines 2016 on Sunday evening.

Since winning the title, Catriona expressed her gratitude to the people who’ve supported her. On her Facebook page she writes, “I’m in the middle of a whirlwind of emotions, but in the afterglow of last nights events, the remaining feelings of excitement and gratitude are the most prominent.”

Catriona also wrote a message to her supporters on her Instagram. She also took the time to promote her chosen advocacy, the PARAISO Bright Beginnings Project, which aims to help out kids living in Smokey Mountain.

Aside from the Miss World Philippines crown, 22-year-old Catriona also snagged Best in Swimsuit, Best in Evening Gown, Best in Fashion Runway, Miss Hannah’s Beach Resort and Miss Manila Hotel. She was also named Miss Figlia Shoes and Miss Folded & Hung awards during the preliminary activities. Wow, that’s a lot of special awards!
