Women of ‘SNL’ Take Down Trump in Beyoncé Parody

This may be the best takedown of Donald Trump to date―aside from Michelle Obama’s speech, of course. Saturday Night Live just premiered “Melanianade,” a parody of Beyoncé’s “Sorry” which features the women close to Trump.

The funny music video first shows Melania Trump (played by Cecily Strong) telling off her husband (played by Alec Baldwin) for taking her for granted and for sexually assaulting women―far from her original and troubling statement. You’ll also see Ivanka Trump (Emily Blunt) mourning her friendship with Chelsea Clinton and taking a dig at Donald’s apology. (“Daddy wants to tweet he’s sorry — I don’t even think he means it.”) Meanwhile, Tiffany (Vanessa Bayer) spoke out about being “the other daughter.”

Other cameos include Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway (Kate McKinnon) saying she’s sick of him “always screwing up, expecting me to clean it up,” and Omarosa (Sasheer Zamata) from The Apprentice handing in a resignation letter. Even Mike Pence (Beck Bennett) makes an appearance to call out Trump.

The skit was directed by SNL‘s new head writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider who are known for making female-driven comedy. This comes as the US elections draws near and in light of Trump’s constant denial of his misogynistic actions.

Speaking of Trump, he didn’t seem to like the skit that much and started ranting about the media rigging the elections. As expected.

There are many notable lines from the song, but this one probably sums up everyone’s feelings toward him: “Four fingers up, make ’em bend right. Put ’em in the face, tell him, ‘boy, bye.’ You’re fired.”
