We all know Cherie Gil for her acting in films and teleseryes, mostly as an antagonist. She also sings for Repertory Philippines from time to time. Aside from those things, we’ve also taken notice of another blessing of hers―her good-looking 19-year-old son Raphael Rogoff.
Raph, as he’s commonly called, caught the attention of many when Cherie posted a few photos of him on her Instagram. And for those who are curious, here’s what you need to know about him.
#1 He’s part-Israeli
Raph’s father is New York-based Israeli violinist Rony Rogoff. Although him and Cherie have parted ways back in 2008, the whole family still hangs out when Cherie’s visiting NYC.
#2 He has three siblings

#3 Andi Eigenmann is his cousin
Cherie’s late brother Mark Gil is the father of Andi Eigenmann, Sid Lucero, Gabby Eigenmann, and Maxene Eigenmann. I wonder what reunions and family photos are like.
#4 He’s an NYU student
Raph just started studying in New York University earlier this year. Not much is known about his academic life, but he did support the NYDM―a yearly dance marathon that raises funds to help fight childhood cancer.
#5 He likes to travel
From climbing trees in a New York forest to riding elephants in Cambodia, Raph is quite the adventurer. He even mentions on his WayUp account that he’s lived in four different countries.
#6 He once saw Kanye West
Raph was present during the Meadows Festival in NYC and was blessed by Yeezus’ presence. This was also the same performance that Kanye had to cut short because of Kim Kardashian’s incident in Paris.
#7 A father of two poodles
We saved the best and cutest for last. Raph owns two brown poodles and loves them like they’re his own kids. Awww.
