Vivian Ramsey takes her clothing brand Eairth online. And along with its website launch comes a new collection worthy of a spot in your closet. The intimate gathering held at The Alley at Karrivin allowed the visitors to experience each piece—all laid out and arranged based on color palette.
The pieces that came in bone color were dyed with ginger, the ones in soft blush were dyed with the use of Madder root from India, the soft nude was made with the use of cocoa shells (or was it husks?), a few of the olive greens were dyed from Talisay leaves, and the deep blues were made with Indigo flowers. Each was made and dyed by hand with pigments that solely come from nature making it compatible to your skin and even skin tone. A far cry from today’s chemically-processed fast fashion.
Eairth, or should we say Vivian, is always about the tropicalization life. So it’s no surprise that her collection is actually something that you can sport from sea to city. Vivian told us about a few of their surfing trips and how she and her friends would go out and ride waves wearing silk pieces from the collection. Yeah, sure you can surf in board shorts, but why the hell not in silk? Specifically the Mandaya Swimmer paired with the Igorot Wanderlust skirt, which coincidentally was the same look she was rocking last night.
And since this collection is readily available online, it won’t be so hard to go shop for yourself. Yes, do it. But before that, click on the slideshow above to see their look book.
