Shiseido is now offering a seven-piece collection of rainbow face powders to achieve that perfect complexion. Before you cry out that it’s all gimmickry, do know that the rainbow face powder is one of the original products of the brand, first released in 1917. It’s 100 years old!
Given its centennial anniversary, the Shiseido Limited Edition 7 Colors Powder Revival has been upgraded from its original formula with hylarounic acid and comes in a box fitting for precious jewelry. The same logic of color correcting applies hence the need for seven shades as Nylon explains: “yellow for brightening, green to rid of redness, rose and peony for your cheeks, lavender to make your skin pop, and beige and white for final touches.”
Do you think it’s worth it? At $200 perhaps it can be justified as a big gift for yourself. Cop it online at the Shiseido website.[Nylon]
