Givenchy’s new fashion film featuring their S/S ’17 collection follows “a young Parisian girl comes out of a club after a rave party and gets lost on a trip on Mars.” It either sounds like quite an adventure or a nasty hangover.
Shot by Mert & Marcus, the film is nothing short of a visual experience. Once you click play, you’ll just be lulled into watching in and invested as you try to make out the French words being spoken over what sounds like fractured techno music.
There are plus points if you can tell who are the models part of the film like Irina Shayk (Bradley Cooper’s baby mama), Mariana Boscono, and Lea T.
The out of this world theme while in utilitarian ensembles and frilly skirts seeks to empower the woman as the studie says that the women they are speaking to “has strength and character” and “nothing gets in her way, she is fearless and confident in her body.”
