After getting engaged late last year, Coleen Garcia reveals that she and Billy are aiming for a 2018 wedding. Good call since that gives them time to plan for the big day.
The main reason for the 2018 date is due to both of their work schedules. Coleen tells Bandera, “Gaya nitong bagong soap namin na Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin, tapos may naka-line-up din na movies. And for him (Billy), he has shows as well.” (For example, we have a new soap opera, Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin, and there are already new movies lined up for us. For Billy, he has new shows as well.)
Coleen is also aiming for a summer day wedding. “Summer is my favorite season. It’s my favorite time of the year. And parang masyadong soon naman kung this summer kasi nangyari lang (engagement) end of last year. ( Summer is my favorite season. It’s my favorite time of the year and it would be too soon if we get married this summer because we just engaged end of last year.)”
