British host Piers Morgan is in hot water after his condescending Women’s March remark. This also prompted Ewan McGregor to pull out of his TV interview.
Ewan was scheduled to go on Good Morning Britain to talk about his new film Trainspotting 2. However, he backed out last minute when realized that Piers was one of the hosts.

Last Saturday, Piers wasn’t subtle with his disapproval of the Women’s March. He called it “a mass hissy fit over a failed female presidential candidate” and also proposed a Men’s March against “rabid feminists.” He even wrote a column to expound on his disapproval.
I'm planning a 'Men's March' to protest at the creeping global emasculation of my gender by rabid feminists. Who's with me?

No, this is what a mass hissy fit over a failed female presidential candidate's bid for the White House looks like. https://t.co/kcpv59mOFa

Piers also didn’t appreciate Ewan’s sudden cancellation and replied this to the actor:
Sorry to hear that @mcgregor_ewan – you should be big enough to allow people different political opinions. You're just an actor after all.

He also apologized on Good Morning Britain about his political views. But he also said that “actors should stick to talking about films and not get worked up about politics.” Meanwhile, his co-host Susanna Reid, who also disagreed with Piers’ views, was disappointed as she wanted to see a healthy debate on the show.
As you may have heard, @mcgregor_ewan stood us up today because of @piersmorgan – and here's what he had to say about it…@susannareid100 pic.twitter.com/aarr2rb0r7

Such a shame. Challenge views where there's difference. Would have liked to see that debate on air – it's an important one. #WomensMarch https://t.co/dSsMZ9mc46

Of course, Piers’ tirade didn’t end there. He continued tweeting about how pissed he was of Ewan, even called him a “pedo-loving hypocrite,” and engaged in arguments with netizens.
Why should actors be deemed to have more important or correct political opinions than anyone else? https://t.co/c1wJHijASa

He's an actor, not the Dalai bloody Lama. https://t.co/s2wRouuq0G

Actors' opinions on politics are no more valid than anybody else's. https://t.co/JmZHFhyf6v

And I'm not having any of his pro-feminist claptrap given his support for child rapist Polanski. https://t.co/r8xuf3ZRB5

I believe it was just a mass Trump-hating protest at Hillary losing.
Thus worthy of criticism. https://t.co/AB6EXy530O— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) January 24, 2017
Now you all know why I've never watched a single Star Wars movie.

Good on Ewan for standing his ground. As for Piers, he should check how fragile his masculinity is.
