5 Summer Trends Kathryn Bernardo, Yassi Pressman, and Anne Curtis Can’t Get Enough Of

When does a trend become a staple? It’s hard to tell. Some unlikely pieces have made their way into must-have territory when you weren’t looking.

But staples do often start out as trends. When they persist after a few seasons, you might want to look into them as an investment piece. As they continue to penetrate the fast fashion market and high-end brands fight to have it synonymous to their aesthetic, celebrities also play a good part. When you see it on their feeds and on more than one influencer, you know you’ve got to wisen up to what they’re copping at the moment.

We’ve ticked off five trends that keep popping up on our current feeds. Try to find out if you’d like to jump on them and they’ll turn out to be your next favorite also.

Large frame sunglasses

We’ve seen how tinted sunglasses have bled from the runways of Chloé to the nearby frames shop. But if you need to throw some serious shade (on your eyes, that is) you might want to consider oversized pairs with “Look at me!” frames. I think this is a good way to opt out from putting on makeup on lazy days too.

Tassel Earrings

A few months ago, we reported how tassel earrings are sold out almost everywhere. But it’s already almost mid-2017 and they still persist. It’s a casual way to sport some shoulder grazers both at the beach and the bar.

Printed Pants

Remember the crazy printed leggings of yore? Or how colored jeans populated every other bloggers’ post? What was once a resort staple of wide leg, printed pants are getting  some love even in the city.

Scarf headbands

If you think that this channels that old-school pinup feel, you’re right. But it looks like this way to tie your hair is getting an upgrade as it’s the accessory of choice even indoors. Get your favorite scarf, master the nonchalant ribbon tie and you’ve got a new hair accessory.
