With the number of bars and restaurants in the metro, there are a lot of choices when it comes to after work drink spots. Some people save drinking for the weekend but I have gone out on weekdays many times and these bars are still full with people trying to unwind after are hard day’s work and killing time while letting traffic die down.
If you’re looking for a place to check out with your officemates and craving for a refreshing drink, we’ve rounded up some that you can try out this week.
20:20 Mule
20:20 has become a go-to spot on the weekend with their weekly events and international guests giving you the best sounds. But, they are also open during the week starting Wednesdays. Grab some dinner, like their pork belly tacos, and pair it with the 20:20 Mule. It is a vodka-based drink that has sweet and sour notes mixed with ginger.

The Bowery, a restaurant along Rizal Drive in BGC, is known for their brunch menu but they also serve hearty dishes for dinner. A favorite being Steak and Eggs, customize the wellness of your steak and how you want your eggs and you have a meal that will make your day. The perfect match for this meal? Their Margariri: A citrus margarita mixed with apple vinegar and red wine. Tip: The Margariri is buy one take one on Tuesdays.
Magners
Cider isn’t something that you often see on drink menus in the Philippines but The Belle & Dragon offers one that will refresh your post work body. Made with 17 varieties of apples, order this by the pint to complement your bar food orders.
Highball

Whiskey might not sound like the most refreshing drink but mix it with some soda water and you have a lighter take to it. The Suntory Kakubin Highball is blend of whiskey, soda water, and lemon. A simple but must-try drink, especially if you’re eating sushi.
