No matter how much you deny it, we know you don’t mind giving in to a good romatic movie every now and again. 100 Tula Para Kay Stella might just cure that fix. The official trailer of the movie dropped last night and it looks like the premise might just get us to buy a ticket.
Bella Padilla plays the titular Stella, a girl who rocks out in a band and is a lover of the stage. The adorable JC Santos, plays Fidel who holds back from long statements because of a speech defect. Nevertheless, he tries to overcome this along with his shyness by…you guessed it, writing 100 poems for Stella. It’s refreshing to watch since we live in a world where everyone just seems to rely on sliding into your DMs and the other technological advances we’ve turned to for romance.
The movie is part of the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino which will be on Aug. 16 to 22 and inlcludes films like Patay na si Hesus, starring Jaclyn Jose and Birdshot, produced by the same studio behind smash hit Heneral Luna.
