At its onset, Close Up Forever Summer promised two things: An afternoon of indie music and a night of EDM. Their two chosen genres couldn’t be more different from each other—one champions softness and intimacy, while the other commands bass you can feel to your bones. Whether the festival-goers were there to sway to Angus and Julia Stone or rave to Martin Garrix, everyone seemed to decide that it was a good day to showcase their personal styles—from cheeky shorts to maxi skirts, and from bold bralettes to subdued one-piece ensembles. Preen snapped photos of the festival’s most fashion forward all decked in their festival best. – MM
