Glitter isn’t going away anytime soon. Just look at the new collab between J.W. Anderson and Converse named “Glitter__Gutter.”
The collaboration is a follow-up to the first project between both brands which was logo heavy and a favorite of Frank Ocean. In this edition, you get a fitting shoe for the holiday parties. It’s perfect if you want to ditch the heels but still give the KiraKira+ app a run for its money. The classic Chuck Taylor All Star ’70 and the Thunderbolt ’84 come covered completely in glitter. There are three colorways for the Chucks: “Green Black,” “Blue/Green,” and “Blue/Hot Pink.” While the Thunderbolt comes in “Barbaros Cherry” and “Classic Green.”
If you’re not yet convinced to click “Add to Cart,” Converse teamed up with director Larry Clark to create a short film focusing on the sneakers.
The sneakers are available this Dec. 14 at J.W. Anderson, Converse, and Matches Fashion. Just in time for some last-minute gift for a glitter fiend…aka yourself.
