In the newly launched iflix, expect smooth-sailing entertainment viewing that’s all about the pleasure and none of the guilt.
The site makes an array of shows and films of different genres legally accessible for viewers. Yes, we’re talking about a spectrum of moving pictures that range from British Sherlock down to Asian flicks The Diamond’s Dream (which you probably haven’t even heard of until now.) The best part? You can stream all of these in up to five devices.
Five. Devices. Let that sink in.
“iflix is 10,000 hours of entertainment right at your fingertips. Like if you watched 8 hours of TV everyday for the whole year, that would still be less than 3,000 hours!” says filmmaker Quark Henares, who is also head of development and production for iflix. “It’s quality shit, too. All seasons of Friends, stuff like The Godfather trilogy and Fargo, stuff I really wanna watch like Dr. Who, Sherlock, and The Americans. Exciting stuff.”
Though developing in size and design, iflix is organized in a way that’s convenient to both the solo and family watchers. You can create a playlist of shows you’d want to watch on cue. You can also activate parental control in the settings, just to keep kids and other young ones away from South Park’s many cusses.
For now, first-time subscribers can indulge in a a month-long trial where they can binge-watch for free.
