Catch the movies while you still can
Because some of the Oscar-nominated films were released late in the Philippines, you still have time to catch some of them this weekend. Films like Lady Bird, Call Me By Your Name, The Post, and The Shape of Water are still showing in select cinemas. Check out the available screenings and book your tickets before Monday.
Fix your Monday schedule
Following Philippine time, the Academy Awards will most likely be showing early morning starting with the red carpet. If you can afford to stay at home for this, make sure you don’t have any overlapping meetings or important things to attend to. You can also check when the replay will be in case you can’t watch it in its entirety.
Find out where it’s showing/streaming
If you’re staying at home, find out what channels it will be showing on. For those who have to be at work, Facebook will be the official live stream partner. You can tune in to The Academy’s Facebook page to watch the footage. This includes red carpet highlights, backstage clips, and live look-ins of the telecast. They won’t be live-streaming the entire show, however, but don’t worry we have a solution for that in the next point.

Can’t keep up with what’s happening? Don’t worry, we’ll keep you updated. From the red carpet looks to the acceptance speeches, and social issues brought up, we’ll be churning out content to keep everyone satisfied.
Get pampered like Armie Hammer
Bonus: If you want to feel just like a celebrity going to the event, pamper yourself like Armie Hammer. On Instagram, he has been sharing the different steps he’s taking to become Oscar-ready. So far he’s gotten a haircut and even taken care of some body hair. Yes, Armie! #FreeTheNipple indeed.
