It’s the start of another week and I’m struggling a little bit to bounce back after the Holy Week break. I’m sure some of you feel the same way. Whether you stayed at home and rested or went out of town with your friends, getting back to the daily grind is difficult. Especially when your timelines are flooded with vacation photos.
This morning, I saw a lot of posts of people who went to the beach or lounged by the pool. These made me want to throw on a bikini and take a dip in some cool water. If you haven’t come across these yet, here are some celebrities who shared their Holy Week memories on social media.
Julia Barretto
To take a break from everything, Julia Barretto went back to Siargao. She spent time surfing the waves and relaxing on a bench swing. She also greeted her followers a Happy Easter.
Sue Ramirez
Sue Ramirez also spent some time at the beach. Take inspiration from her choice of swimsuit and cop a burgundy-colored one for your next trip. She also got quite a tan which makes us want to spend some time under the sun too.
Anne Curtis
Anne Curtis on the other hand made her way to Australia to spend some time with her family. Aside from going on runs, she also went for a swim. She posted a photo in the Peninsula Hot Springs overlooking a picturesque view.
Chi Gibbs and Gabs Gibbs
The Gibbs sisters made their way to Boracay with their family for the Holy Week break. They played beach volleyball, went paddleboarding, and layed on a boat. We’re also loving their printed bikinis layered under oversized button-up tops.
Kiana Valenciano
Kiana Valenciano’s workspace for the weekend was none other than a beachfront resort in Zambales. She basked in the sun, listened to music, and even spent some time with a cute little dog. Doesn’t this look like the perfect beach trip?
Lauren Reid
Siargao seems to be a hot spot as Lauren Reid was there for the break too. Of course, she went surfing and captured some moments on an instant camera. Aside from these, however, she also joined a group of volunteers and locals clean up the beach. She also encourages us to do the same, “Join the movement and get keen to clean!” Nicely done, Lauren.
Jessy Mendiola
Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano decided to go with an Asian destination for their beach vacation. The couple went to Phuket, Thailand and shared their experience on Instagram. They spent the sunsets by the pool and had their morning coffee in their villa. A trip to Thailand wouldn’t be complete without food so they went for a Turkish meal at Kataturk.
Gabbi Garcia
Gabbi Garcia’s idea of a relaxing break is laying poolside in the city. In a yellow swimsuit and skirt cover-up, she posted a photo sitting on a canopy pool bed. This is a great way to get some R&R without having to go out of town.
Bela Padilla
Bela Padilla also had a chill weekend at Siargao. She spent her days swimming, driving around on a scooter, and drinking breakfast smoothies. Who else wishes they were living the island life too?
