All Your ‘Riverdale’ Questions Answered in the Season Finale

I’ve been watching Riverdale religiously ever since it started showing. No, I don’t scour the Internet for theories and spoilers. But I do look forward to coming home on Thursday nights to a new episode to watch while I unwind with a bucket of popcorn.

When the show first started, I was intrigued by the darkness that hovered on the entire show. I used to read the comics as a kid (and I still have some of them) so this new take on a classic was interesting. The series always had some eeriness to it like with Betty’s hot tub scene and of course the introduction of the Black Hood.

As creepy as the show was, the last few episodes escalated pretty quickly. I think it all started with the musical episode, which was based on Carrie. So, yes, this episode was very creepy. Performances aside, the scene that really got me was obviously Midge’s death. Not just because she was murdered but how it was done: brutally stabbed and then put on display on stage for everyone to see.

And everything went downhill from there. The Serpents and Bulldogs went at it… again. But this time it started a full-on riot. Betty accused her dad of being the Black Hood but Cheryl doesn’t think he has that kind of darkness inside of him. Basically, Riverdale has turned into a pit of doom. And the last two episodes of this season gave me mixed emotions. Just when I thought major conflicts had been resolved, new ones are appeared. Yes, they did catch the Black Hood but I have a bad feeling that the murders aren’t over.

I’m sure you all have a lot of questions too like is Jughead alive? What’s going to happen to the Serpents? Is Veronica going stand up to her father? So many mysteries that might just be answered in the season finale. So, mark your calendars for season two’s final episode, which airs on Netflix tomorrow, May 16. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
