Bras come in all forms of shapes and sizes to accommodate our needs. We’re used to seeing the traditional pieces with cups and straps, sometimes bandeaus, but some brands get creative with their products. There are now bras that (allegedly) make your breasts appear bigger and those that give you support while being low-key.
Of course, we’re not certain if these will work for you. But if you find them interesting, feel free to cop them. Now, check out these unconventional bras below.
Butterfly-Shaped Bra
You probably saw an ad for this bra on social media at one point. This is a strapless adhesive bra with a tie fastening at the front. When you pull the strings, it’s said to give you a fuller cleavage. InStyle says it works if you align the cups properly and it doesn’t feel like it’s stuck to your skin. So I guess this is one social media fad that’s not scam after all. Available on Lazada.
Fashion Forms U Plunge Strapless Bra
This one is another stick-on bra but it has a plunging design to it. Fashion Forms’ strapless and backless bra “is designed for a smooth lifted fit beneath any silhouette.” You can wear this under a backless top or even a dress with a deep neckline. It comes with straps too in case you want extra support. Available on Shopbop.
The Natural Push-Up Combo Wing Bra
The Natural has a strapless and backless bra with underwiring “for ultimate lift and cleavage.” Although it comes in various cups, there are certain precautions like neck pain and increased risk of breast cancer. But if they work for you so far, just watch out if there are any discomfort in the future. Available on Amazon.
Luv AJ Metal Underwire Chain Bra
At first, I thought this was a necklace but apparently it’s a real bra. It’s made from brass and can be worn under or over clothes, plus it doesn’t have a cup covering the nipples. According to Luv AJ’s website, the body chain has a three-inch extender around the back and neck. Think of this as a unique alternative to your bralettes. Available online.
Jelinda Harness Elastic Cupless Top
This looks like something a dominatrix would wear. It’s all-black and has straps on the shoulders and around the breasts. It doesn’t have cups also but the straps can be adjusted for your support needs. Wear this as a bralette under a blazer or over your top if you’re feeling risque. Available on Amazon.
