Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have been through a lot these past few months. They got engaged and moved in together. Ariana is also working on a new perfume and released “God Is A Woman” from her upcoming album Sweetener. Despite their busy schedules, the couple seem to have a lot of time for leaving comments on each other’s Instagram posts. If you look at their photos, you will see that the comments can be sweet or add context to the post. We found some of our favorites and figured out how to use them in everyday situations.
When someone asks about the weather
Rain equals bed weather so we don’t blame you for wanting to stay in every day. If someone asks to make plans and you’re not in the mood, simply reply to them with Ariana and Pete’s favorite emoji: clouds.
Finding something you’ve been looking for
I’m sure this has happened to you: A song has been stuck in your head but you don’t know the title or a shirt from your closet goes missing. So, you search the Internet for the song and purge through every room in your house. Finally, you find it! Out of sheer excitement you have to tell someone and say, “Dis is da one bb.”
When you find your dream house
I haven’t found my dream home yet, but I imagine that when I do, I would gush about it all the time. Like Ariana, your future house could have features you don’t notice at first but fall in love with instantly. After seeing a photo of her living room from a different angle, she noticed how cool the ceiling was. “Yo, our ceiling is sick. I just noticed it. Do we live in space?”
When Manila heat is unforgiving
Sure, it has been pouring rain non-stop this whole week but eventually it’s going to be sunny in Manila again. We’ll welcome it with open arms at first but, as we all know, it can get pretty intense. And, when it does, we can quote Pete and say, “[It’s] so hot it’s insane.”
How’s that chocolate cake?
I don’t know about you, but I love food and I’m constantly thinking about it. The next time you’re having the best meal of your life (maybe tonight?), whip out this comment from Pete, “YUM YUM YUM.” Same, Pete. Same.
After watching Ant-Man and the Wasp
If you haven’t seen Ant-Man and the Wasp yet, you can still catch it at some cinemas this weekend. Like all Marvel films, don’t forget to stay until the end credits, there are two by the way. After the first one, I can guarantee that you will say what Pete said after watching Ariana’s music video, “Mesmerized. Couldn’t even like believe what I was seeing.”
