Carmina Villaroel’s kids are done with starring in commercials

There’s a young new duo in showbiz. Cassy Legaspi and Mavy Legaspi, kids of Carmina Villaroel and Zoren Legaspi, have officially signed contracts under GMA. The twins say that they want to expand their horizons and not just star in commercials.

Speaking to GMA News, the twins want to work on different genres. Cassy prefers to star in rom-coms and hopefully work with Julie Anne San Jose. Meanwhile Mavy wants to do “light dramas, light sitcoms.”

When asked about working with their parents on a project, they said they’re both open to the idea. “Of course I want to work with my parents, instead of commercials, maybe shows. I want to see how that would look like,” Cassy said.

“They’ve been a big inspiration in my life and I’ve always thought about it, being in a show with them,” Mavy added.

In the past, the twins mostly starred in ice cream and fastfood commercials and this is their first shot at showbiz. What do you expect from these young stars-to-be? Sound off in the comments section below.
