It may have been a whirlwind engagement between Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber last month, but the two are in no rush to tie the knot.
“The wedding planning has slowed down a bit,” a source tells People. “They still don’t want a long engagement, but they are also not rushing the wedding.”
“It was getting quite intense and they realized they want to enjoy being engaged for a while. It’s not like they need to rush—they are both so young. They aren’t slowing things down though because they are unsure if they want to marry; they definitely want to get married.”
Last week, the two were spotted crying in Manhattan and a few rumors sparked that their relationship might be on the rocks. But TMZ reported that Justin just showed a cover of the book The Meaning of Marriage: Facing the Complexities of Commitment with the Wisdom of God when a photographer asked him what was going on. “You got good days and you got bad days,” Justin said. “It’s not real if it doesn’t have any bad days.”
The two are very much happy and are simply enjoying their time as an engaged couple. Nothing wrong with that!
