Exes Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino may have established that they’re just friends at the moment, but that didn’t stop them from making everyone swoon. While we were sleeping, Angelica posted a heartwarming birthday message for Carlo and it’s giving us all the #feels.
“Sayo lang hindi nagbago ang salitang pagmamahal. Maligayang kaarawan,” (The term “love” never changed with you. Happy Birthday.) Angelica wrote on Instagram, partnered with a hugging photo of the two. Naturally, netizens went into a frenzy to see the CarGel loveteam being sweet.
Angelica and Carlo have a new movie together titled Exes Baggage which premieres on Sept. 26. Based on the teasers, it’ll center around a former couple who looks back at their relationship. It’s also quite fitting since the two actors were a real-life couple for six years.
All these cozy photos are making us wish they’re a couple again like in the early ’00s.
