After cancelling this afternoon’s press conference, Pres. Rodrigo Duterte decided to have têtê-à-têtê with Atty. Salvador Panelo instead. Here, Panelo asked the president questions given by the press. They discussed many topics like the war on drugs, inflation, and Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV.
During the quick Q and A, we took note of some quotes that made us go “huh?” Also some statements that made us a little confused. Keep reading to find out what we heard.
“I’m willing to put at stake my life, honor, and the presidency.”
And then he took it back… “Kung ayaw niyo sakin eh di ‘wag na. Ako na mismo ang aayaw.”
Everytime he brought up Trillanes.
On the war on drugs: “I will destroy you. I will return the favor.”
“I will kick your ass.”
When he said he has no regrets during his presidency.
He will pick the best telco company to be announced by Christmas.
Food and transportation increased because we don’t have oil.
