After opening up about the financial abuse that took a toll on her health, Kris Aquino called on to everyone to pray for her and her two sons as she undergoes medical treatment in Singapore. She said before that she’s lost a significant amount of weight in the past few weeks, and has also clarified that she tested negative on tumor markers.
So what’s going on with Kris’ health as of now? There’s no confirmation yet but she said in an Instagram post that she and son Bimby “read through several medical terms I Googled so he’d understand what may lie head.” She added that they were reading through medical results dating back September 2015 and found that her most recent tests done in the Philippines “had results no longer as good as those from San Francisco in March 2018.”
Back in March, Kris flew out to SF to get a check-up for allergic reactions that caused her blood pressure to shoot up to 180/100, as well as to address her extreme nausea. She said that since August last year, she’s been breaking out in hives every month which would cause her blood pressure to either drop or spike up.
Kris also added on Instagram that she’s currently getting treatment via prescription medication for hypertension, severe allergies, and migraine. “But we flew to Singapore to see one specialist for 3 areas of my health that needed to be immediately addressed with appropriate treatment for me to have the best chance to regain my health,” she wrote.
Despite this challenge, Kris still thought of her sons more than herself. “Please PRAY for my [two] sons, Josh and Bimb… That’s what happens when you become a parent, you wholeheartedly surrender being number [one.]”
Aside from fans wishing Kris the best of health, her good friend Sharon Cuneta also extended her prayers and support. Sharon also said she wouldn’t be surprised if the unnamed business partner who betrayed Kris “triggered all her health problems.”
