Hold your celebration, Mocha Uson might run in the midterm elections

We all love good news, however, these can sometimes be short-lived. For example, this morning it was announced that PCOO Mocha Uson has resigned from her position. Of course, many were glad to see this but hold your celebration. According to Inquirer.net, “she is open to run for the 2019 midterm elections.” In an interview she said, “Senator, Congress, hindi ko po alam, pero open po tayo.” (I don’t know, but I am open for that.)

Okay, let’s pause for a moment and let that sink in. After all the scandals that has transpired since the beginning of her political career, this doesn’t seem like the right move. In case you forgot, she has spread fake news, botched a video on federalism, and made fun of deaf people. I’m no expert but these don’t seem like something someone in politics should be doing—or anyone for that matter.
