What’s the indicator of success? According to singer Bruno Mars, it’s when you can hire singer Ed Sheeran as your personal serenader—which was exactly what he did for his 33rd birthday.
Through Instagram, Bruno posted a video of himself wearing a birthday hat while eating a pyramid of cupcakes with a spelled-out “BRUNO,” while Ed Sheeran, a fellow multi-awarded singer-songwriter, sat across him and sang a special version of “Happy Birthday.” It went, “Happy birthday dear two-time-Super-Bowl-performing Bruno”—because, as Bruno wrote, “#ExtraForever!” He further captioned the post with “You know you’ve made it when you can hire Ed Sheeran to sing you Happy Birthday.”
Yup, that’s the dream.
