Can falling in love with your best friend have a happy ending?

We’re all a sucker for best friend plot lines, but what happens when feelings are revealed (after seven damn years) only to be busted in the end? That’s what happened between Carson (Maja Salvador) and Dio (Paulo Avelino) during I’m Drunk, I Love You. Carson revealed her feelings, but sadly, BFF doesn’t feel the same way. It happens, but we’re a tad bit shattered.

Director JP Habac didn’t want to leave us hanging and instead teased us with a sequel to his first long-form film. The title? I Love You, I Do.

Theories and burning questions fill our heads. Will they end up together or will this serve as closure? Who will get married? Who will get drunk? Where is Pathy (yes with an H)? Another question would be, will it still be Maja Salvador and Paulo Avelino in the film? I guess we just have to wait and see.
