This is not a drill: ‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’ will have a sequel

Updated on Dec. 21, 10:26 a.m.

Your day just got a whole lot better because it’s true—a To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before sequel is officially in the works! The Hollywood Reporter confirms this in an article about Netflix’s new studio deal with Paramount. According to the outlet, one of the very first films under this new deal will be none other than a follow-up to TATBILB.

As Refinery29 noted, this should come as no surprise given the immense popularity of the movie. And it was, after all, based on the first of three books written by Jenny Han—the second and third book being P.S. I Still Love You and Always and Forever, Lara Jean, respectively.

Netflix confirmed this by releasing a sweet, sweet letter.

Lana Condor (Lara Jean) and Noah Centineo (Peter Kavinsky) even released a special video. They first talked about working on another contract for Christmas and eventually, both shared their special secret to everyone.
