Is Tony Labrusca cancelled already?

Updated Jan.6, 2019, 9:00 a.m.

Tony Labrusca is trending on social media right now. But not for good reasons. Through a now-deleted tweet, the Glorious actor shared that he was given a 30-day Philippine visa. This decision by authorities reportedly led to a row between him and immigration officers and supervisors. One netizen stressed that he owed them an apology for “shouting” and “cursing” at them. It has been pointed out that the actor is allegedly neither a Filipino citizen, nor does he have dual-citizenship, so he doesn’t have the right to demand a balikbayan status from DFA. The comment posted on Tony’s Instagram which cited this incident, has now gone viral and resulted to netizens saying the actor was “entitled” and that he’s officially “#cancelled.”

Tony’s dad, Boom Labrusca, initially apologized on his behalf through a comment.

Tony has also since issued an apology and explained his side. “After lining up and crossing the immigration, I went up to the superior and we ended up going inside an enclosed space inside her office to discuss privately. I admit I was a bit frustrated and that I asked why I was only given 30 days to stay in the country this time,” he said through Twitter.

While he confirmed the incident, he denied calling anyone “stupid, nor an idiot much less brag about being a celebrity.” Adding that “My biggest mistake perhaps was letting my emotions get the better of me and again I’m sorry.”

What do you guys think of his apology? Let us know in the comments section below.
