Chris Brown really wants you to believe he didn’t rape a woman in Paris

Chris Brown was just released from police custody after being detained for allegedly raping a woman in Paris. He wasn’t too happy about the accusation either and took to Instagram to deny the claims.

According to French publication Closer, a 24-year-old woman recounted that she and Chris Brown met at Le Crystal on Jan. 15. She then went to the singer’s hotel with other women, and when she was alone with him, the alleged rape happened.

French police detained Chris and two other men after these allegations came out. But within hours, the prosecutor’s office in Paris told the Associate Press that the three men were allowed to leave the country without charges while investigations are ongoing. The singer made it clear (in all caps and lots of exclamation points) that what happened was “disrespectful” to his family and “against my character and morals.”

This isn’t the first time Chris was accused of rape. Back in May 2018, a woman filed a complaint against him after Chris allegedly held her against her will while his friend raped her. Not to mention that he’s had a string of assault and battery charges, including the one involving then-girlfriend Rihanna.
