We love supportive couples and award shows have a lot of ’em. The Screen Actors Guild Awards 2019 made us swoon with some heartwarming couple moments.
First up are This Is Us actor Justin Hartley and his wife Chrishell at the red carpet. They played with the swing at the SAG Awards’ video booth before the show. Watch ’til the end to see how they lovingly looked at each other.
Sterling K. Brown (also from This Is Us) and Ryan Michelle Bathe were also spotted working the cameras at the red carpet. This couple knows their angles.
My personal favorite is Emily Blunt thanking her husband John Krasinski during her Outstanding Female Actor in a Supporting Role speech. “I am going to share this completely with my husband John Krasinski because the entire experience of doing this with you has completely pierced my heart directly, you are a stunning filmmaker,” she said of her award-winning role in A Quiet Place. You could see John tearing up a bit and gleaming with pride. Awww.
We’ve got honorable mentions, too! The SAG Awards Instagram account also caught BFF moments at the show. Because if you don’t have a date to awards shows, you can always hang out with your good friends. Yes? Yes.
