Three days ago, director Irene Villmor released the teaser poster for their movie Ulan. Fast forward to today and she posted the official poster. As you all know, the film stars Nadine Lustre and Carlo Aquino.
All the theories and fan stories started pouring in as soon as the trailer came out, it was intriguing because it touched on Filipino folklore stories—remember the tikbalang?
Now that the official poster is out, fans are a little more intrigued and even posted a few reactions to the images.
“Really appreciate all the reactions to posters,” said direk Irene. “All of these photos are part of the universe that is Ulan.” After sharing a little backstory on how this film came alive, she also talked about the movie’s plot. “Ulan is about self-love. But when do we really learn how to love? Isn’t it through every little experience in life?”
