The long wait for Kiana Valenciano’s solo album is finally over. She drops her album See Me today on Spotify and Apple Music.
Last night, Kiana, along with Tarsier Records threw an exclusive launch party in 20:20. She performed 10 new songs, some of which features Careless Music Manila’s artists. Curtismith collaborated with her on “Keep It Secret.” Kingwaw (aka Bret Jackson) joined her for “Faded, Love,” a song she wrote about only having the courage to talk when you’ve had a few drinks. Kiana sang “K, Bye” with Sofia and it talks about breaking up with the wrong guy, she also produced this with Moophs (who, BTW, is her brother-in-law).
Her parents Angeli and Gary Valenciano, and brother Gab were close to the stage so they would have an uninterrupted view. Her eldest brother Paolo was the one who directed the whole show, while her sister-in-law Samantha Godinez entertained guests and made sure to snap the best photos. The entire space was filled with family, friends, fans, and the media. It was a pretty tight crowd!
And now that the album is out, we’re sure to play it over and over. Because if there’s one thing we learned from Kiana, all good things come to those who wait and it’s definitely worth it.
