Women’s Month is just getting started and there’s an event happening this weekend that you might want to check out. There will be another leg of the She Talks Asia Summit and this year’s theme is “We Are Enough.” It will take place on March 16 at The Globe Tower in Bonifacio Global City. This overarching topic really speaks to me—as I’m sure it does to many other women out there. I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that there have been too many times where I have felt like I was lacking in some aspect, whether it be at work or even through social media. This summit wants to bring these issues to light so and guide women “to nurture self-worth and achieve growth in the arenas or personal development.”
It’s going to be a full day of talks and She Talks Asia invited a diverse pool of speakers. Neuro-semantics trainer Sheila Tan will be talking about the importance of investing in mental health while Rosario Herrera will teach the audience how to negotiate their worth. Mich Dulce will also be present to speak about building relationships and getting rid of toxic ones. Another important segment will Kimi Juan discussing how she deals with the pressure of social media, I’m sure we can all learn from this. Other speakers include Judy Ann Santos, Rissa Mananquil-Trillo, Joey Mead-King, and many more.
As someone who constantly struggles with self-worth and always has that nagging thought at the back of my mind that I can do better, I’m glad that this summit is taking place. Before the actual event, She Talks Asia also released a series of videos with women sharing their stories about how they had to fight and prove their worth and ideas from career to personal life. You’ll definitely get inspired.
