BLACKPINK has an “intense” single coming up

World-renowned K-pop group BLACKPINK just announced the release date of their upcoming EP album Kill This Love. This is their first album after signing with Interscope Records and UMG last October.

The teaser poster, which featured BLACKPINK member Lisa, revealed that Kill This Love will drop on April 5. According to their management, YG Entertainment, Kill This Love is also the title of the lead single. It’s said to be “a very intense song that surpasses ‘Ddu-du Ddu-du,'” which was their top-grossing track from their 2018 album.

“The choreography for the upcoming [song], designed by four world-class choreographers, is more dynamic than [BLACKPINK] has presented so far,” YG said. “It would live up to the expectations and standards of global fans.” Perhaps this intensity will bleed into the whole album as well.

It’s also possible that Lisa will take the lead for “Kill This Love,” especially since she’s considered the main dancer of the group. But that’s just a guess, of course. All the BLACKPINK ladies are talented AF.

Oh, BLACKPINK is also going on a North American tour after releasing Kill This Love. Any chance they’ll come back to the Philippines soon? Hmm, we’ll see.
