Hilary Duff and her precious little daughter Banks Violet, who’s now five months old, obviously have a deep connection. In an Instagram post, the actress shared their first meeting, and it’s the sweetest thing you’ll see today.
“I’ve been wondering for a long time if I would ever share this video as it is extremely personal … it was so absolutely lovely and rewarding (and shocking) that after giving birth to my baby girl we hugged … for the first time,” Hilary wrote on Instagram. In the black-and-white video she shared, we see Hilary seated in a birthing tub, while she holds her newborn daughter and gazes at her affectionately.
As she gently kissed Banks, the newborn actually reached her arms up toward her neck in a seeming embrace. “In my mind I like to believe that she was saying good job mom. Go team go. We did it. Together,” Hilary added. Aww!
