If you follow us on social media or are subscribed to our newsletter, you’ve probably come across our upcoming event with local brand PIOPIO. #KuboParty is happening this Saturday and we have a lot of things planned for all of you. Aside from the talk by Rissa Mananquil-Trillo and music by a selection of female DJs, PIOPIO will be setting up a patching station. What is this exactly? You’ll be able to revamp an old denim jacket by adding patches of fabric from PIOPIO for a fee. To give you a better idea of what will go down, watch the video below as I take you through the different steps in the process.

Aside from the patching station, PIOPIO will also be giving away a prize to one lucky winner at the event. This includes a bird tikog bag from Samar, Beachborn shampoo bar, Bagobo beaded bangle, Mangyan friendship bracelets, a woven fan, and Tara Baraha! cards.
