There are certain items we just can’t leave our homes without. For most of us ladies, our arsenal is our beauty kit. Even I, who’s admittedly lazy about these things, have mine. Yeah, there are a few things there that I consider a staple. And then there’s that one absolute must-have—my number one which I absolutely can’t live without: My Vaseline lip balm. Since I have super dry lips, I HAVE to carry it with me wherever I go.
I know you all have that one beauty product you just have to have with you everywhere; Your “most precious.” For this edition of Preen Picks, other people from around the office share with us theirs.
Generation Happy Skin Active’s Kiss & Bloom Lip & Cheek Tint
My lip tint. I’ve experimented with so many tints because I’m extremely picky about the color (I like it perfectly natural-looking but buildable to be a bold color too—I know, tall order), and I’ve only found one that works perfectly. The problem is, it’s from a drugstore line in the US so I can’t find it here. But the past two weeks, I feel like I might have found my new holy grail. I’ve been using Generation Happy Skin Active’s Kiss & Bloom Lip & Cheek Tint in Focus everyday since I got it and I’m excited because it fits the bill! Extremely long lasting too, since it’s formulated to be sweat-proof. Also, hooray for Filipina entrepreneurs! This is my new bag staple for sure. – Giselle Barrientos, Junior Content Creator, Scout
The Face Shop’s Designing Pencil
Eyebrow pencil. I started doing my brows when I was in second year college, when I (finally) realized that my brows are patchy, and filling them is a quick fix to make myself look made up. My face is round so, I also figured that fixing my brows into a particular shape makes my face kinda edgy, frames my face. I’ve tried lots of brow products but I love The Face Shop’s designing pencil, doesn’t smudge despite my oily skin in the brows area. – Yazhmin Malajito, Content Creator, Nolisoli.ph, Northern Living, Southern Living
IN2IT Waterproof Eyebrow Powder trio and Miniso Automatic Eyebrow Pencil
Probably eyebrow powder/pencil! I have very sparse (read: nonexistent) eyebrows and always have at least one eyebrow product on me. I use either the IN2IT Waterproof Eyebrow Powder trio or my holy grail Miniso Automatic Eyebrow pencil just in case I need to touch up my brows. You never know when a last minute plan comes up. – Tricia Guevara, Graphic Designer, Preen.ph
Lucas Papaw Ointment
The one beauty product that i always have with me would be Lucas Papaw. It serves as my beauty savior whenever I get chapped and dry lips. Not only that, i also use it whenever i get random insect bites, burns and pimples, to help lessen the redness – Nina Mamonong, Account Executive
Miniso Cucumber Water Mist
Probably a facial mist so I can freshen up everywhere I go and also moisturize my skin on the go. Right now, I’m using a cucumber water mist from Miniso—perfect for summer, TBH. – Jackie Arias, Junior Content Creator, Preen.ph
Burt’s Bees Overnight Intensive Lip Treatment
I started using this just a few months ago. I always have chapped lips, so a lip balm is a must. Sure, this is technically meant to be an overnight treatment but i like to use it throughout the day. It’s minty and leaves a cooling sensation on the lips. Tip: lightly apply a lip tint on your lips and add this on top when you want something natural. – Tisha Ramirez, Associate Editor, Preen.ph
