We all know Pres. Rodrigo Duterte as a vulgar and misogynistic leader who loves to display his machismo in speeches, including the SONA. But you might be wondering how other people perceive our dear president.
Well, Urban Dictionary has an interesting take.
A netizen tagged Urban Dictionary in a “Duterte” tweet to see if they will give a definition—and they pulled through big time. UD classified the name under a verb, adjective, and noun, and all of them defined “Duterte” as corrupt, a scam, and a traitor.
Urban Dictionary is a crowdsourced online dictionary meant to give definition to various slang words. Since users are encouraged to add words and definitions, many are hard-to-believe but also funny.
And in case you were wondering, the definition of “Duterte” was submitted to the website just last July. Another definition, which describes the president as a “dictator-wannabe,” was also submitted last March.
