Emma Stone nabs this year’s top spot on Forbes’ annual list of highest-paid actresses this year. She commands $26 million from her various projects such as this year’s Oscar-nominated film La La Land.
She took the spot from last year’s top earner Jennifer Lawrence, who now comes in third next to Jennifer Aniston.
The list for the highest paid actors has yet to be released. The gender pay gap in Hollywood is a persistent issue, something Emma also spoke about previously. In July, Emma said that her male co-stars take a pay cut when working with her to match her salary and to create a fair environment.
