We need to talk about YOU and stockholm syndrome… again. Like many people, Millie Bobby Brown binge-watched the series and was very passionate about it. In the middle of it, she took to Instagram Stories to share her thoughts.

She started off by saying, “He’s not creepy, he’s in love with her so it’s okay.” I’m sorry, what? She did mention that she just started watching it but from the first episode we can already see his stalker behavior. Millie then defended herself, “I know everyone’s going to say ‘aww, he’s a stalker. Why would you support that?’ No, like, he’s in love with her.”

To fully understand why this view on Joe’s character is so wrong, watch the series for yourself. Even Penn Badgley agrees that we need to stop romanticizing Joe.

Ditto. It will be all the motivation I need for season 2. https://t.co/fy2hojauDG
