Here’s news to make your hearts flutter: Camille Co and Joni Koro are engaged! How did it happen and what did they do to celebrate? Well, Camille made a vlog documenting these moments.
The couple was vacationing in Tokyo—exploring the fashion shops, eating ramen, the usual tourist stuff. On their second day, they went to Rikugien Garden which is known for recreating 88 scenes from six famous Japanese poems. “I was pleading with Joni if we could start the day really, really late. But he insisted that we come here early in the morning because he said it’s really pretty,” Camille said while fanning herself to survive the summer heat. Joni also gave a cheeky wink in the background.
The next scene, Camille showed off her shiny square-cut diamond ring. “My plan worked. I got her up early in the morning even though she’s ‘Cams the complaining jowa,'” Joni quipped. They have a video of the exact moment but they decided to keep it for themselves. But they did share the beautiful photos shot by Sweet Escape.
To celebrate, they went to the nearest Family Mart for lunch because Camille joked that they need to save now that they’re getting married. “We gotta save for the wedding, the house. Every day, only convenience store food, okay, jowa?” LOL!
But the real celebration happened in the evening. They went to Ramen Nagi for dinner and drank some sake afterwards until 2:30 a.m. (Note to self: Take note of this if you suddenly get engaged in Tokyo, too.)
