Jess Wilson got engaged on a remote island over the weekend

This just in! Jess Wilson and Moritz Gastl are engaged!

Jess made the announcement on Instagram, where she recounted how Moritz surprised her last Saturday while they were vacationing in Papua New Guinea. “I was completely in shock I even walked away thinking he was teasing me,” she said. “But he nervously got down on his knee in the sand and said his speech, we cried, ran back to the Burnands and friends at the other end of the island and celebrated the whole day after.”

On IG Stories, Jess showed behind the scenes photos and clips before the proposal from her sister Georgina Wilson-Burnand.

After Moritz popped the question, they instantly had an engagement party on the yacht in the middle of the South Pacific Ocean.

Even baby Archie was thrilled about his aunt’s engagement.
