How do you make a statement without being too flashy? “The Crown” star and Golden Globes Best Actress winner Olivia Colman showed us how with her Equal Representation for Actresses (ERA) ring.

Colman was spotted wearing a round white and red ERA 50:50 ring at the Golden Globes red carpet.

ERA is a UK-based organization founded by actresses Lizzie Berrington and Polly Kemp in 2015. According to their website, it was set up in response to a report that female representation in films is only an average of 17 percent.

Colman isn’t the first person to don the ring at an awards show. “Bohemian Rhapsody” movement director Polly Bennett wore it during the 2019 Academy Awards and “Fleabag” star Phoebe Waller-Bridge had it on at the 2019 BAFTA Awards.
