Earlier this month, talent handler Leo V. Dominguez announced on Instagram that Paulo Avelino will share the screen with Jane De Leon in the upcoming remake of “Darna.”
The upcoming remake will be directed by Jerrold Tarog, with whom Avelino has worked with in “Heneral Luna” and “Goyo.”
As for how the remake will differ from the original (plot-wise), more details have yet to be revealed. But as for the cast, according to the IMDB listing among those starring are Pia Wurtzbach (rumored), Mikee Quintos, Mikoy Morales, Jane Oineza and Krystal Brimner (as young Narda).
Looks like the anticipated remake is slowly coming together.
