Building Blocks. Our #CoachFW20 City Blocks bags are archive-inspired with a playful, geometric touch. (This is how creative director @StuartVevers shapes the future.) #CoachNY #NYFW

All eyes were on the runways of New York Fashion Week (NYFW) the past few days to spot the upcoming trends for fall/winter 2020. The standouts? Bags of all shapes and sizes.

We’ve seen It bags evolve from regular-sized bags to large totes to micro mini purses. Recent NYFW shows offered a selection of them thanks to labels like Marc Jacobs, Coach and Oscar de la Renta. Today, we’re sorting some of them from tiniest to largest.

Tom Ford

Tom Ford’s latest collection has a selection of small denim crossbody bags and handbags. What caught our eye (or almost didn’t) during the runway show was a tiny pouch attached to an ID strap, which also comes with a phone case. This is perfect for people who love to travel light.

A lot of us are familiar with Longchamp’s medium and large handbags that come in multiple colors. So imagine our surprise when we saw this small white crossbody bag with top handles.

There’s always space in our wardrobes for belt bags. Brandon Maxwell’s version is a small body bag made from a patterned PVC-like material.

Oscar de la Renta

A small lunch box, but make it Oscar de la Renta. This blue bag was definitely a standout from the runway.

This Proenza Schouler purse reminds us of the padded bag trend because of its pillow-like shape. It also has a short strap if you want to carry it like a handbag.

A glittery duffel bag for your workout needs? Yup, Area made it happen and it goes well with any work outfit. That way, you can jump from the gym to your office in style.

Jonathan Simkhai’s oversized nude tote bag is going to be our go-to work bag if we get our hands on it.

We Earned These Stripes: Coach creative director @StuartVevers dipped into the archives for #CoachFW20 and came out with a freshly reimagined Legacy Stripe. First introduced by Bonnie Cashin in the ‘60s, the graphic motif turned up on oversized accessories and crisp cotton separates with a workwear attitude. #CoachNY #NYFW

Coach reimagined their iconic Legacy Stripe bag known for its graphic motif. This includes an oversized handbag that has bright pink, lavender, and black stripes.
