Looks like Robin Sparkles isn’t a one-hit wonder anymore

Move over “Let’s Go To The Mall,” Robin Sparkles just dropped a new bop called “Let’s All Stay At Home” just a few hours ago. Referencing her old role in the hit TV show “How I Met Your Mother,” Cobie Smulders posted a video of her singing a revamped version of “Let’s Go To The Mall” in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you’re a fan of “How I Met Your Mother,” you’re probably familiar with Robin Sparkles. Before moving to the big apple, Robin Scherbatsky spent her youth touring as a teenage Canadian pop star with her hit song “Let’s Go To The Mall.” Ever since the quarantine started, many people on the internet have been re-sharing clips of the song to represent what they’ll be doing after the lockdown is lifted.

In her caption, Smulders credits Craig Thomas and Carter Bays for the new lyrics (which I have to admit are pretty timely). She also gives a shoutout to one of the original composers, Brian Kim, for helping make the piano arrangement a bit easier for her to play.

Smulders is also promoting some charities which her fans can donate to: Save the Children US, CanadaHelps and Daily Bread Food Bank.

So since we’re already emotional over this little throwback session, when can we expect an “HIMYM” reunion?

Lia is what you can describe as an adorkable person. She's always passionate about what she does, but she's also very clumsy. On her free time, she usually plays video games with her friends and cuddle with her baby chi Peanut.
