It’s a sad day for K-pop as one of its biggest stars is taking a break from the limelight to fulfill his military service. EXO’s singer-songwriter Suho took to Instagram to bid his fans farewell for now. He posted a picture of a fan raising the group’s lightstick with the caption, “WE ARE ONE, EXO. 사랑하자. (Let’s love.) ”
Previously, Suho shared the news of his enlistment date to his fans in a handwritten letter posted on Lysn. It read:
“Hello, our EXO-L. This is Suho.
I am writing this letter today because there is something I need to tell you all.
On May 14, I will be enlisting in the military to carry out my duties. I think I will really miss our EXO-L during that time.
I hope our EXO-L, who think of me and love me every day, will always be healthy. I sincerely thank you, and I love you.
We are one, EXO. Let’s love.”
SM Entertainment also confirmed the news then. Its representative added that the place and time of their artist’s enlistment will be private. Suho will be the third EXO member to enlist, following D.O. and Xiumin.
EXO-Ls are posting their tributes on Twitter to wish the idol good luck and express that they are already looking forward to his return.

It’s real Suho missing hours and what better way to celebrate him than rewatching his music videos from his first mini-album “Self-Portrait” which came out last March?
