On July 22, local band Ben&Ben trended on Korean music streaming site Melon after NCT Mark sang their single “Leaves” on his recent VLive stream. Because the K-pop singer told his fans that the song was good, it was enough to get Ben&Ben the number one spot on the site’s realtime search box. Aside from the number one spot, they also occupied the second, third, sixth and seventh spot according to a tweet by a YG fan account.

After receiving the news, Ben&Ben immediately expressed their gratitude to the K-pop singer, tagging the group’s Twitter account.

But it wasn’t just NCT Mark who contributed to the local band’s virality in South Korea. Young K of DAY6 also shared how he loved “Leaves” on his VLive account. According to Inquirer.net, Young K felt amazed and surprised after hearing it.
Ben&Ben released the single “Leaves” back in 2017 under Warner Music Philippines. Their latest drop is “DOORS” which is their first ever international single.
